1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data collected through Qualitas Suite is:

Company: Suprema Qualitas

Website: qsuite.squalitas.com

Contact: privacy@squalitas.com

2. Data we collect and purposes

2.1 Mailing list (voluntary subscription)

Subscribing to our mailing list is fully optional. If you choose to subscribe, we collect the following data for the sole purpose of keeping you informed about product updates, new features, training content, and communications from Suprema Qualitas:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Country of residence

We do not share this information with third parties for their own commercial purposes, and we do not sell it under any circumstances. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in each email.

2.2 Usage analytics — Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the application is used and continuously improve it. What is not measured cannot be improved. Google Analytics may collect, among other data:

  • Pages and features visited
  • Session duration and navigation paths
  • Device type, operating system, and browser
  • Approximate country or region (by IP)

These data are aggregated and anonymized whenever possible. For more information on how Google processes this data, see Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

2.3 Advertising measurement — Meta and LinkedIn

We use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags. This allows us to evaluate the performance of our campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn Ads and optimize them to reach more professionals who can benefit from Qualitas Suite.

In connection with this measurement activity, please note the following:

  • Collected interaction data (clicks, pages visited, features used) are sent to Meta and LinkedIn solely to measure and optimize ad performance.
  • If you subscribe to our mailing list, the data you provide (email and name) are hashed using the SHA-256 algorithm before transmission. This means Meta and LinkedIn receive an encrypted representation of your data, not your plain-text data, solely to improve ad targeting.
  • Meta and LinkedIn each act as independent data controllers for the data they receive through their platforms. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how they process data.

3. Data entered in application modules

Any data you enter into Qualitas Suite modules (statistical analysis, audits, risk management, corrective actions, etc.) is stored exclusively in your own browser using local device storage (IndexedDB).

This means:

  • Your operational data are never sent to our servers or any third party.
  • We do not have access to them, we do not view them, and we do not use them for any purpose.
  • Those data fully belong to you.
  • If you clear your browser data or use another device, your data will not be available because there is no cloud synchronization in this version of the application.

This privacy-by-design architecture is a deliberate decision: we believe your quality-management data are sensitive and must remain under your control at all times.

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • Explicit consent: for mailing list subscription and communications.
  • Legitimate interest: for aggregated usage analytics and ad performance measurement, always applying the technical safeguards described in this policy.

5. Data retention

We retain mailing-list data while your subscription remains active. Once you unsubscribe, we will delete your personal data from our list within a maximum of 30 days. Analytics data are retained according to Google Analytics retention policies.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Qualitas Suite uses first-party and third-party cookies for technical operation of the application, usage analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag). When you access the application for the first time, you will be shown a cookie notice where you can manage your preferences.

You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies at any time, although this may affect the user experience of some features.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we process, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), SHA-256 hashing before transmitting data to advertising platforms, and an offline-first architecture that minimizes exposure of your operational data.

However, no system is infallible. We recommend keeping your browser updated and using strong passwords on your devices.

8. Minors

Qualitas Suite is intended for professionals and does not knowingly collect data from minors under 16 years of age. If you detect that a minor has provided personal data, contact us at privacy@squalitas.com so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. When we do so, we will update the “Last updated” date at the beginning of this document. If changes are material, we will notify you by email if you are subscribed to our list or by a visible notice in the application.

10. Contact
